Guiding all we do is the founder’s motto: “Animals first, business second.” This belief shapes our every action - ensuring that pets’ safety, comfort, and happiness always come before profit.
Our Story
Pawpledge’s founder, Desmond, began volunteering at the SPCA in his younger years and later became a certified puppy trainer and dog behaviourist.
As a pet owner, he experienced the practical difficulties of getting around with animals - from finding a ride with a larger dog to arranging transport when a pet needed care. Even a simple outing could depend on whether suitable transport was available.
These experiences shape Pawpledge: an understanding of animals, and of the everyday challenges faced by the people who care for them.

Growing with purpose
Our work starts with helping pets get where they need to go. But easier mobility also gives owners more choice about how they spend time with their pets - a café visit, a day out, or simply bringing them along.
As we grow, we’re building on that through Bonjour, our pet-first mobility platform, to make arranging a ride more convenient and help pets and their people enjoy more of everyday life together.
